Partyman World

For us, there's no project too big! In fact, we specialise in complex delivery across multiple sites, so when we started discussions with Partyman Group we knew that this kind of project was for us. Formed in 2005 and originally an entertainment agency, Partyman began to rapidly expand, and now operates 11 different venues across the UK, all needing intelligent and intuitive ticketing! 

Project Planning

As a project, Partyman had several layers to uncover before the build could begin. Firstly, the set-up was split into the different venues, which included; 

  • Marsh Farm
  • Lee Valley
  • Partyman World (all nine of them!)

We then needed to determine if any of the venues needed branches or sub-venues within them. We mapped out the sub-brands, which included;

  • Laser Combat 
  • Pumpkin Village
  • Christmas at Marsh Farm

Next stop, the build! Each site was created and then shared with Partyman so they could envisage and guide the branding. Once this was in place and was in line with their websites, we began to get cracking with ticketing, memberships, and parties. We tackled one set-up at a time, working through the logistics of each venue in turn. 

Magical memberships

You might be thinking that importing over 35,000 memberships from one system to another is no easy feat! Thankfully, our import templates make it as simple as possible to migrate data from one system to another, meaning that changing your software solutions isn't a headache. We worked with the Partyman team to import the members from each individual venue and assign them to the correct membership plan. Finally, it was time to create direct debit plans. Integrating with Go Cardless, an online payments solution, we were able to help Partyman offer both single payment and re-occurring payment plans.

Introducing a new EPOS system

Whilst the online ticketing was being built for each of the 11 sites we were also working on planning the rollout of our ProPoint EPOS system for each venue. Getting this right needed careful consideration; the go-live of the online platform and the till system needed to be in union so that tickets could be purchased online and redeemed on-site seamlessly. Our ProPoint Project Manager handled it flawlessly, visiting each venue in order to install our EPOS system and train staff as needed.

It's been our privilege to roll out the DigiTickets software to all the Partyman sites and we're excited to be working with them!
