With over 700 animals and 550 acres of land, Knowsley has been a principal attraction of the North West for almost 50 years. 

Initial Set up

Knowsley’s set up included a two-stage approach focusing on both a branded online ticketing platform and our Point of Sale system, ProPoint, for their paylanes.

Online Ticketing

Like any attraction, Knowsley required a ticketing site that suited their current website and core branding. Initial set-up included an exciting range of tickets, including adoptions, gift tickets & vouchers, admission, and experiences. Knowsley’s set-up made use of the extensive range of features within DigiTickets by using timed ticketing for general admission, the products feature for adoptions, and the gift voucher portal for gift tickets and experiences. Like all attractions that onboard with DigiTickets, Knowsley were given a dedicated Onboarding Project Manager, who worked with them throughout their project to ensure a successful launch!

ProPoint

Like many of our clients, the park also chose to use ProPoint on their entrance kiosks. By using ProPoint they were able to easily redeem tickets purchased through their DigiTickets site, improving the customer experience. This phase also included implementing a Chip and Pin integration at all till points, which was installed and tested before going live in line with their dedicated project plan.

Our team worked closely with staff at the park to train them in using the new tills, helping them to streamline their processes as well as enabling them to sell and redeem effectively once they went live.

After Go-Live

Since launch, Knowsley have continued to build their online ticketing with us, showcasing their ‘Enchanted’ after-dark Christmas event and a ‘Mini Explorers’ kids club with five different themed days. Both of these events have used different sections of the DigiTickets functionality to marry the logistical running of this attraction with their online sales, improving the day to day running and allowing them to keep improving the customer experience, while boosting sales.

DigiTickets have been a fantastic support to us during covid.  

We moved all our ticket sales online, and the support team were a great help in getting this set up for us. The DigiTickets platform provided all we needed to easily sell the tickets online. When we found ourselves locked down for the second time, we used DigiTickets to sell Animal adoption packs, and hoodies, where again the process was very simple both for us and the customer.  

Closed again for the third time, DigiTickets assisted us in setting up our online gift shop, which has proved to be very popular with customers. It’s easy to maintain for us, and looks really well on the front end. DigiTickets support team have been very helpful throughout this tough year,  Josh and James have always been at the end of the phone for anything we might need.
